![]() Mankato Composite Squadron held it's annual Squadron Picnic at 7 Mile Creek Park on 27 September 2007. Of the many activities, this year included a special Senior Members versus Cadets Volleyball Competition. After losing the first two games in the Best-Outta-Three match up, the cadets graciously succumbed to the overpowering skill of their adult mentors. This lesson in sportsmanship and good-losery may come in handy for the cadets if they do not recruit a few ringers before the Wing Volleyball Competition this winter. While the Mankato Composite Squadron Volleyball Team traditionally has had a good record over the past decade, the previous three years have not been so hot. It is hoped that by including this activity in the picnic cadets will be encouraged to work hard to improve. |
